Citizens await the rollout of parking meters and the regulation of parking spaces in Settat - Al Ousboue Assahafi

In a move aimed at regulating the parking sector as Morocco prepares to host several international events, the authorities of some cities, such as Casablanca, began at the start of the new year to suspend the issuance of individual permits for car guarding on the city's streets and neighbourhoods, and to roll out parking meters with rates varying from one area to another within the city, in order to regulate this informal and unstructured trade.
