Industrial plots in "Settapark" to be allocated soon

The marketing of plots in the new industrial zone of the city of Settat, "Settapark", has well and truly started. The allocation committee for the industrial plots of this park will hold its first meeting on 30 September 2014, with a view to selecting the companies that can set up in this zone.

It should be remembered that "Settapark" is the result of a partnership between the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CFCIM) and the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy, the Ministry of the Interior, the Regional Investment Centre of the Chaouia-Ouardigha region, the municipality and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Settat, Berrechid and Benslimane. This project, which comes after two remarkably successful projects (Bouskoura and Ouled Salah), is located near the existing industrial zone, with direct access via the A7 motorway and 25 minutes from Mohammed V International Airport. Offering 85 industrial plots for rent, at an average price of 5 dirhams per square metre per month, "Settapark" uses the same model as the CFCIM industrial parks. It offers an integrated package of services that includes security, cleaning, maintenance of green spaces, the pooling of common services (training room, catering, bank, pharmacy, shops, etc.) and, above all, a one-stop shop on site that acts as an interface between industrialists and the administrative services concerned with authorisations. "Settapark" is one of the first projects adopted by the Ministry of Industry as part of

the new industrial acceleration strategy aimed, among other things, at improving the competitiveness of national industry through, in particular, the provision of "World Class" rental property.

This will allow industrialists to optimise their investments by exempting them from costs related to the acquisition of real estate, thus allowing them to focus on the production apparatus.
