Marrakech-Safi: the region accumulates records in 2024

Between tourism records, massive investments and major cultural events, the Marrakech-Safi region confirms, in 2024, its status as an essential economic and cultural hub of the Kingdom, while continuing its reconstruction after the earthquake.
The year 2024 will have been marked by an unprecedented economic dynamic for the Marrakech-Safi region. With an 8% increase in tourist arrivals and 11% in overnight stays compared to the previous year, tourism confirms its driving role. Marrakech, Essaouira and Al-Haouz continue to attract more visitors, benefiting in particular from an increase in the average length of stay (+3%).
