Launch of the OCP integrated industrial site: Safi, new global phosphate hub

HM King Mohammed VI has just launched the work for the realisation of the large-scale integrated industrial site of the OCP Group, Safi Phosphate Hub (SPH). This megaproject is a new giant step that the OCP is taking on the path to concretising its strategy in this field. "The large-scale integrated industrial site of the OCP Group, Safi Phosphate Hub (SPH), whose construction work was launched Friday by HM King Mohammed VI, represents an important opportunity and a true strategic project," emphasised the group's CEO, Mustapha Terrab. "It is about developing, by taking advantage of the new port of Safi which will be built, a new industrial platform equivalent to that of Jorf Lasfar," specified Mr. Terrab in a statement to the press on this occasion.
