Motorcycles.. Rabat hosts the second edition of the "Friends' Parade"

Rabat – The city of Rabat hosted, today Saturday, the second edition of the "Friends' Parade", a motorcycle parade organised to celebrate Morocco's hosting, alongside Spain and Portugal, of the 2030 World Cup finals.

This event, organised by the Parallel Diplomacy Forum, in partnership with the Crete Atlas Club and the Solidarity Club for Professional Bikers in Morocco, brought together a large number of motorcyclists, men and women, carrying the flags of the three host countries.

The parade started from Chellah Square, passing through the coastal road, before arriving in the city of Sale, in a festive atmosphere punctuated by the playing of the national anthem and musical performances.

In a statement to the press, the president of the Parallel Diplomacy Forum, Adil Chafik, confirmed that this second edition is organised under the slogan: "Together, we celebrate the honour of hosting the 2030 Football World Cup in Morocco, alongside Spain and Portugal".

He added that the activities of this festive day took place in two stages, the first starting with the gathering of motorcyclists from various regions of the Kingdom at Chellah Square, before the official start of the parade.

As for the second stage, it consists of a route passing through the prominent sites of the capital, such as the Mohammed V Mausoleum, Victory Avenue, and the Moulay Youssef Bridge, before concluding in the city of Sale, where the Iftar is held.

For his part, Mohamed El Hassnaoui, president of the Solidarity Club for Professional Bikers in Morocco, mentioned that the Kingdom was officially chosen to host the 2030 Football World Cup, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, confirming the club's commitment to playing its role in supporting this global event.

For her part, Nawal Sayouti, vice-president of the Moroccan Women's Motorcycle Club (Miss Moto), based in Casablanca, praised the distinguished female participation in this parade, which embodies the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between Morocco, Spain, and Portugal to make the 2030 Football World Cup a success.

Sayouti said, "Bikers came from all regions of Morocco, including Tetouan, Meknes, Agadir, Casablanca, and Rabat, for one goal: to express their pride and support for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation".
