Since his first album Tolerance in 2005, Ahmed Soultan has developed a unique musical identity, breaking with clichés and trends. Faithful to the human and artistic values he inherited from his childhood village in Taroudant, he combines traditional sounds (darbouka, ribab, gnawa) and modern genres (hip-hop, funk, soul), creating what he calls "Afrobian."
His style has won over a large audience in Africa and beyond, earning him awards such as "Best Artist" and "Best African Album of the Year" at the All Africa Music Awards (2016).
His project, which brings together artists like Nana Mendoza (Mexico) and Di'Ja (Nigeria, Sierra Leone), continues to explore and reinvent African musical roots with a contemporary touch.
"Atlas Tour" will continue until February 2025, with concerts scheduled in Madrid on January 31 and in Montreal on February 8.
