The agreement signed on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, between the International University of Rabat and CY Cergy Paris University includes several axes, notably the creation of double degree programs in various fields of study, the development of joint research projects, addressing engineering sciences, social sciences, or even environmental sustainability, as well as the exchange of students, researchers, and teachers to promote academic mobility between the two countries.
“This partnership with the International University of Rabat is a decisive step towards increased cooperation between our two institutions. We share a common vision of higher education oriented towards internationalization, academic excellence, and innovation,” indicated the President of CY Cergy Paris University, Laurent Gatineau, on this occasion.
The same sentiment was echoed by the President of the UIR, Noureddine Mouaddib, who emphasized that “this agreement with CY Cergy Paris University opens new perspectives for our students, our teachers, and our researchers. It fits perfectly into our international development strategy and strengthens our position as a major academic actor in Morocco and Africa.”
This partnership strengthens the relations between the two institutions and is part of a broader dynamic of Franco-Moroccan collaboration in terms of education and research.
