The Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is located just minutes from the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Medina, and the capital's main business addresses.
"Rabat is a city whose time has come," says the hotel's General Manager, Gregory Viaud. "Four Seasons is unveiling a new era of luxury and glamour, building on its reputation for personalised service with an authentic heart. Our team is eager to introduce the hotel to visitors and welcome local residents to a family-friendly place that has been carefully transformed."
The Four Seasons Hotel Rabat has taken over a historic site, the Palais Kasr Al Bahr, which served in the 18th century as the summer palace of Sultan Moulay Slimane. The property was later transformed into a military hospital before being converted into an urban resort.
"We are thrilled to help revive this 18th-century seaside palace into a Four Seasons hotel," said Bill O'Regan, CEO of Modon Holding. "Inspired by our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, we are proud to see the unveiling of the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr in Morocco, which will certainly spark colossal interest and create memorable experiences."
The five-hectare site on the seaside includes eleven buildings in total – five new and six historic – that combine authentic historic details with modern design.
The Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr offers several accommodation options, including 200 rooms and suites, the majority with a balcony or terrace and views of the ocean. Some suites feature a rooftop terrace or a pool. The centrepiece of the suites is the Riad du Sultan, nestled in the historic sultan's residence built in 1792, now fully restored and expanded. Spread over two floors, this three-bedroom suite spans nearly 1,000 square metres of interior space and features its own private terrace with an infinity pool.
Regarding dining, the hotel offers three signature experiences with Brasserie Marie, a French cuisine bistro; Verdello, which will open its doors on 1 December with exclusive Mediterranean and Italian cuisine; and Flamme, with its veranda overlooking the pools to enjoy its world cuisine specialities.
The Spa at Four Seasons is intended to be a well-being sanctuary with its ocean view, featuring ten private treatment rooms, a traditional Moroccan hammam, a beauty salon, and an indoor saltwater pool. Two outdoor pools – including a resort-style pool and an infinity pool with an ocean view – are set amidst the gardens. Guests can work out in the 24-hour gym, which has an outdoor terrace for yoga classes. As for children, a Kids club with a programme of fun activities is also accessible.
In addition to its strategic location, the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr has several assets for hosting events and celebrations. The establishment has 2,700 square metres of indoor-outdoor space. The Royal Ballroom, a 1,021-square-metre space, can accommodate up to 1,000 people and has a large outdoor terrace. The events centre also features a junior ballroom, seven meeting rooms, and an open-air terrace with a view of the Atlantic Ocean for sunny daytime events and evening receptions.
To celebrate its official debut on 1 October 2024, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is extending its opening offer with 15% off the regular room rate.
