Morocco Gaming Expo 2024 aims to promote the gaming industry in Morocco and more specifically Rabat Gaming City, which aims to establish a cluster of national and foreign companies. Rabat Gaming City is destined to become a source of quality jobs, but also a hub of cultural and social creativity in the capital, and one of the largest hubs in the gaming sector in Africa and the MENA zone.

Access to the Morocco Gaming Expo 2024 will be free subject to registration. The exhibition includes 3 spaces:
  • An exhibition space dedicated primarily to the Moroccan ecosystem: Rabat Gaming City, startups and incubators, universities and training operators, financing organisations, infrastructure providers (hardware, telecom networks, data centre, cloud, ...).
The stands will be made available free of charge to companies subject to acceptance of their file submitted via the stand request form available on the website https://moroccogamingexpo.ma
  • A space dedicated to conferences and gaming training sessions with high-level expert speakers, national and international, on all areas of the gaming value chain.
  • A space dedicated to tournaments including e-sport, team strategy games, and multiplayer battle games.
The global gaming market ranks 1st among the Cultural and Creative Industries with 295 billion USD in 2022. Projections indicate that this growth will continue and the industry could reach a value of 321 billion USD by 2026.

At the national level, gaming is an emerging sector and offers enormous employment and investment opportunities for Morocco. In this context, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication launched the Gaming Strategy in 2022 around 4 axes:
  • The establishment of technological and hosting infrastructures including Rabat Gaming City.
