Upcoming meeting in Rabat of the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts of the Office for North Africa
The Sub-regional Office of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) for North Africa will hold its 30th Intergovernmental Committee of Experts (ICE) from 3 to 6 March in Rabat, on the theme "Implementation of Africa's Agenda 2063: planning, resource mobilisation, and financing for development".During this meeting, participants will study the 2014 report on the evolution of economic and social conditions in North Africa, the 2014 country profiles, regional and international agendas including special initiatives for North Africa, the 2014 activity report of the Sub-regional Office, and its draft work programme for the 2016-2017 period, noted a recent press release from the ECA, a United Nations body.They will also address various themes including regional integration with a particular focus on "Trade for industrialisation", the development of regional value chains, transport, and trade fa…
