About twenty couples will tie the knot: Collective wedding in Rabat

A good action to set as an example. Under the aegis of the municipal council of the city of Rabat, a collective wedding will bring together twenty couples, made up of young Rbatis, civil servants and employees of the Rabat town hall.

The celebration of this wedding will take place this evening starting at eight o'clock at the Niama party hall.

This project was the result of collective work that brought together several local actors, notably the Nada Association for Social Works and Development, the Regional Association of Party Professionals, the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, the Niama party hall, the Regional Council of Adouls near the Rabat Court of Appeal, the Miloud Chaâbi Foundation for Social Works, the local council of Ulema of the capital, the Maroc Culture Association, the Al Haouzia Knights Association, the Association of Social Works for Civil Servants and Auxiliaries of the Rabat town hall, the Karim, Pretty Women and Essentissi hair salons, and Galaxy Fleurs.

This ceremony will be presided over by the Mayor of Rabat, Fathallah Oualalou, and the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaër region.

In addition to the families and friends of the young couples, this evening will be enhanced by the presence of the President of the Regional Council, the President of the Prefecture Council, the Presidents of the districts, members of the municipal council, as well as several personalities from the business world and civil society.

Preparations are well underway. Several partners and benefactors will join this action to contribute to the success of this event. The negafates, make-up artists, hairdressers as well as music orchestras will participate voluntarily in this charitable action.

This initiative aims to encourage and help singles in difficult situations to get married and thus realise their hope of creating families and better integrating into society.

Note that this initiative will be crowned by a two-day stay in the ochre city for the benefit of the newlyweds.
