Air Arabia, the first low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, is pleased to announce the launch of its new direct route between Rabat, the political capital of Morocco, and Oujda, located in the east of the country. Starting today, January 9, with the support of the Oriental region, this new route will allow travelers to reach Oujda from Rabat more quickly and easily.
The inauguration ceremony, organized at Oujda-Angads Airport, was marked by the presence of Mr. Khatib El Hebil, Wali of the Oriental region, Mr. Mohamed Bouarourou, President of the Oriental Regional Council, and Ms. Leila Mechbal, General Manager of Air Arabia Maroc. This symbolic moment was followed by a traditional water salute upon the arrival of the inaugural flight in Oujda, highlighting the importance of this new connection for travelers and economic actors in both regions.
