Inauguration of social projects in Oujda: a new consecration of the constant royal solicitude towards the human element
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, proceeded on Wednesday to the inauguration of socio-sporting and educational projects in the city of Oujda, new structures that illustrate the constant royal solicitude towards the human element and which give a strong impetus to the programmes launched within the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
The Sovereign thus inaugurated a home for the elderly “Riad Al Moussinine” and a socio-sporting and training complex “Al Bassatine”, realised for a total investment of nearly 26 million dirhams. The realisation of these projects, which aim at the development of sporting activities, the strengthening of local facilities, the promotion of the conditions of women and young girls, and the care of certain vulnerable social categories, proceeds from the vision of the Sovereign who places the human element at the heart of any development process. Having mobilised a budget of 16 million dirhams, the home for the elderly aims at the care, in terms of accommodation, catering, medical monitoring, and general well-being, of elderly people without resources or family support.
