Realised within the framework of the rehabilitation programme of the Sidi Abdelouahab square, the new mosque, with a covered area of 2,948 m², includes two prayer halls, one for men and the other for women, accommodation for the Imam and the Muezzin, as well as ablution rooms. With a capacity of 1,600 worshippers, the "Al Fadila" mosque was built according to authentic Moroccan architectural standards thanks to the contribution of a patron (15 million dirhams). The inauguration by the Sovereign of this religious building reflects the particular attention that H.M. the King, Amir Al-Mouminine, pays to religious affairs and His permanent desire to provide the Kingdom with mosques combining functionality and aesthetics, so that the community of believers can practise its worship in good conditions.
