The port of Nador West Med will welcome its first ships in mid-2026, according to Mohamed Jamal Benjelloun, DG of the SNWM.

The port of Nador West Med will welcome its first ships in mid-2026, according to Mohamed Jamal Benjelloun, DG of the SNWM.
This future logistics hub plans to handle 3 million containers and 25 million tonnes of hydrocarbons.
The new port is distinguished by the deepest quays in Morocco, with a draught of 18 metres for container quays, thus allowing the reception of the largest ships in the world, up to 400 metres long and 24,000 container capacity.
It also includes quays for bulk products, with a depth of 20 metres, and energy stations capable of handling up to 25 million tonnes per year.
