The celebration of the 4th anniversary of the creation of the Al Hoceima-Nador regional radio constitutes an occasion for the staff of this station to take stock of its services and to envisage the future with more openness to its listeners, affirmed, Monday in Al Hoceima, the regional director of the station, Mustapha Chikhi.
"This event is a stage to evaluate the media performance of these four years and to look into the possibilities of improving the product of this radio by being attentive to all social strata of the Al Hoceima province, stressed Mr. Chikhi, in a statement to the MAP on the sidelines of an open day organised on this occasion under the theme "State of play and perspectives of the regional press".
Mr. Chikhi stressed, moreover, that the regional press faces great challenges linked mainly to the lack of financial resources, the absence of printing houses, the lack of training, all factors that have negative effects on these media companies and have been behind the disappearance of many newspapers.
For his part, the journalist at the Al Hoceima-Nador regional radio, Ahmed Achoukhi, stressed that this station is a space dedicated to all strata of society in the Rif and constitutes a free platform for everyone to express their point of view and thus contribute to the management of local affairs.
For their part, the participants in this day stressed that the Al Hoceima radio has been able, thanks to its professionalism, to make a place for itself in the daily life of citizens in record time, despite a reduced staff having to ensure the coverage of a large geographical space, expressing the wish that this station could also be picked up on the web.
Among the programmes particularly appreciated by the public of the region, we can cite "Regional Affairs", "Almasaa arriadi" (sport), "Chou'oun tarbawya" (educational), "Likaa azawal" and "Amsawadh", "Mousabakat thakafya" and "Ibridhen Ousari" (entertainment).
