First symposium of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune

The first symposium of the city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune is organised, on 24 and 25 October, under the theme "Heritage, a lever for development". Initiated by the "Joudour" association for the development of Moulay Idriss and the Zerhoun region, this event aims to discuss the major constraints that hinder the development of this city.It also intends to propose operational and realistic approaches for the redevelopment of the city and the entire Zerhoun region and to raise awareness among the local population of the value of their environment and the potential that this area abounds with. Bringing together Moroccan and foreign researchers, the symposium will debate "the historical approach to Moulay Idriss", "cultural heritage and tourism", "olive growing and the history of Zerhoune", "the sources of Volubilis in ancient history", "the challenges of artistic projects in heritage sites"…
