1,300 women and 800 children benefit from a medical caravan
More than 1,300 women and 800 children benefited from the "Mother-Child" medical caravan organised, recently in the province of Midelt, at the initiative of the Association of Private Gynaecologists (AGP).Organised in coordination with the provincial health delegation, this caravan travelled from May 10 to 12 through the main cities and rural communes of the province, according to the organisers.A medical staff composed of 24 specialists, including 14 gynaecologists, 4 paediatricians, 2 anatomopathologists, 2 anaesthetists, and 2 doctors representing a private laboratory, was mobilised with the aim of guaranteeing the success of this social action.Thus, some 1,325 women in the cities of Midelt (357), Rich (147), and the rural communes of Tounfite (179), Itzer (179), Boumia (146), Zaida (170), and Amersid (147) benefited from consultations and ultrasounds for cancer screening, notably br…
