These two health institutions were inaugurated by the Governor of the Meknes Prefecture, Abdelghani Sebbar, and the Chairman and CEO of the Akdital Group, Rochdi Talib.
Within the framework of the national dynamic aimed at modernising the health sector in Morocco, the Akdital Group continues to implement its strategy of expansion and strengthening its geographical presence through the opening of these two new health structures in the city of Meknes.
The Private Hospital of Meknes, as a multidisciplinary health institution, which required total investments of 350 million dirhams, provides 194 hospital beds and 8 modern operating rooms equipped with the latest technologies, and designed to meet the highest standards.
These rooms include a technical unit specialised in childbirth, in addition to rooms dedicated to endoscopy operations, ensuring the performance of advanced surgical interventions.
The hospital also contains a resuscitation unit including 12 rooms dedicated to general and cardiovascular resuscitation, in addition to 11 rooms dedicated to neonatal resuscitation, to provide intensive care for critical cases.
This infrastructure also includes a sophisticated interventional cardiology unit, equipped with a catheterisation room and another for stress tests, allowing for advanced treatment of heart and vascular diseases.
It also includes a mother and child centre, designed to meet the specific needs of pregnant women, newborns and children, with 17 beds and an equipped nursery, providing a safe and supportive environment for mothers and children.
Thanks to these modern facilities and the wide range of specialities, the hospital offers the population of Meknes and the surrounding areas high-quality medical services, eliminating the need to travel to other cities to obtain advanced healthcare.
For its part, the International Oncology Centre of Meknes is distinguished by an integrated and specialised approach to the diagnosis and treatment of various types of cancer. The centre contains a day hospital for chemotherapy with 20 chairs, providing a suitable environment for managing treatment protocols.
The radiotherapy unit equipped with a modern linear accelerator ensures high precision in treatments thanks to an advanced radiation dose scanning device.
This centre reflects the clinic's commitment to providing advanced oncology care, and meeting the complex needs of cancer patients with precision and medical excellence.
The Private Hospital of Meknes, which was designed to provide a distinguished and integrated health experience, offers an innovative healthcare path with personalised support.
The institution includes an integrated radiology centre containing modern equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Scanner, and ultrasound and mammography devices, allowing for rapid and accurate diagnosis.
It also contains a sophisticated laboratory for conducting medical analyses with high precision, ensuring reliable and rapid results for better patient care.
The hospital also provides a 24-hour emergency service, with the permanent presence of resuscitation and anaesthesia doctors to ensure an immediate response to critical cases.
In addition, the management of medical data in the hospital relies on integrated digital systems, ensuring rapid and secure access to information, and enhancing coordination between medical teams to provide optimal healthcare for patients at the Private Hospital of Meknes.
It is noted that the "Akdital" group, a leader in the private health sector in Morocco, has placed access to healthcare at the heart of its mission, as it provides a capacity of 3,727 beds distributed across 33 institutions in 19 cities across the Kingdom, and employs more than 6,826 staff.
Since 14 December 2022, the "Akdital" group has been listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange under the symbol (AKT), thus recording the first entry of the private health sector into the financial market.
