Acts of vandalism are resuming with the restart of the national Pro-Elite-1 championship. Thus, a catastrophe was narrowly avoided on Sunday, February 10, during the CODM-MAS match counting for the 16th day. Seventeen COD Meknès supporters were injured to varying degrees after the collapse of part of the fencing that separates the pitch from the stands at the Honneur stadium in Meknès. The incident, caused by a stampede of supporters, occurred just after the first goal scored by the Fassi club in the second half. According to a medical source, the injured, aged between 13 and 26, were evacuated to the Mohammed V hospital in Meknès where they received the necessary care. Only one person - fortunately, moreover - suffering from a broken nose, was transported to the Moulay Ismail hospital, while the others left the hospital, according to the same source.
