Marrakech hosts the second edition of the « HAUSA & GNAWA » festival to celebrate African music and Gnawa heritage – Al Youm 24

Marrakech is preparing to host the second edition of the international festival « HAUSA & GNAWA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL », organised by the association « Dar Kano » from October 15 to 17, at the municipal palace, with the participation of artists and musicians presenting diverse experiences inspired by African and Moroccan musical heritage.
The festival aims to make music a space for cultural convergence, by combining the rhythms of Hausa music and Gnawa heritage, in an artistic experience that seeks to highlight the cultural and historical links that unite Morocco with its African depth, and to showcase the diversity and richness of African music.
