Gather Marrakech 2026: The Ochre City hosts North Summit's first African event
Event: Marrakech hosts, from 22 to 24 October 2026, the first African edition of Gather, organised by North Summit in collaboration with Gather Being. This event will bring together international investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders around themes such as investment, innovation, artificial intelligence, tourism, well-being, and Moroccan heritage. Through strategic exchanges and meetings, Gather Marrakech aims to strengthen ties between Morocco and international markets. As a non-profit event, it will also support youth education and inclusion, particularly through funding for the Addictest association and the participation of Street Soccer USA as an impact partner. The Ochre City hosts the first African edition of Gather, organised by North Summit in collaboration with Gather Being. This gathering, which will take place from 22 to 24 October, will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, and creators, allowing them to share their vision of investment, education, innovation, well-being, and heritage. For the organisers, "some of the most remarkable opportunities are not born in boardrooms. They are born around shared tables, unexpected conversations, remarkable places." The programme for this first edition focuses on investment, real estate and tourism, technology, artificial intelligence and education, well-being and longevity, and Moroccan heritage and culture. Through these exchanges, Gather Marrakech intends to bring together international perspectives and Moroccan leadership, and to highlight the Kingdom's growing position at the crossroads of Africa, Europe, and global markets. Among the announced speakers are Bernhard Bohnenberger, co-founder and CEO of Discover Collection and former president of Six Senses; Mike Crichton, international president of GSK; and Venanzio Ciampa, president of the Street Soccer USA foundation. Hospitality, real estate, and health leaders, including Sean and Fatine Wilson (OPTI Health), will join them, alongside Moroccan entrepreneurs such as Iness El Amine (Ya Zine). This non-profit event is dedicated to education and social responsibility. Thus, part of the funds raised will be donated to Addictest. Founded in 2015, Addictest is a school and training centre present in the major cities of Morocco. It supports Moroccan students in their preparation for university admissions and scholarships. Its action has enabled more than a thousand young people to join top international universities, including Harvard, NYU Abu Dhabi, Bocconi, Northwestern Qatar, MIT, Stanford, and much more. Street Soccer USA will also participate in the event as an impact partner, to highlight the role of sport in youth inclusion and development. Through these commitments, Gather Marrakech wishes, as the same press release explains, to combine international meetings with concrete support for the Kingdom's educational initiatives. Note that North Summit brings together international leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and creators around experiences designed to foster strategic meetings and lasting partnerships. Gather Marrakech 2026 is its first edition on the African continent, organised in collaboration with Gather Being. Receive the latest news from Aujourd'hui Le Maroc directly on WhatsApp
