At the opening of the 3rd Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf Economic Parliamentary Forum, organised on Friday in Marrakech under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Chakib Alj, insisted on the urgency of strengthening economic cooperation between the countries on both sides of the Mediterranean and those of the Gulf.
In a tense global context, marked by the energy crisis, trade disruptions, and climate change, Chakib Alj advocated for the implementation of new partnerships capable of transforming regional issues into concrete opportunities. He called for better coordination between states to address common challenges such as food security, water scarcity, energy transition, and technological changes.
