Marrakech-Safi: Economic momentum continues on an upward trend

The Marrakech-Safi region is increasingly asserting itself as a "powerful engine" of the national economy, recording a remarkable performance in terms of investments between January and November 2024.
Thanks to a committed implementation of the national strategy for private investment development, as well as high-performing institutional support, the Marrakech-Safi region is positioning itself as a hub of economic, tourist, and industrial attractiveness, on the eve of major global events that the Kingdom is preparing to host, such as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations or the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Thus, during the first eleven months of 2024, 635 new projects were approved, an increase of 51% compared to 2023. These projects represent a total investment of 93.4 billion dirhams, with the projected creation of 21,266 jobs, marking a 14% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The tourism…
