This 123-minute feature film explores with delicacy the dialectic between emancipation and conservatism within Palestinian society in 1948, reflecting the deep conviction that the development of societies depends on the emancipation of women.

On this occasion, the Italian director and jury president, Luca Guadagnino, expressed his warm gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

He also expressed his warm gratitude to HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation.

Likewise, Guadagnino highlighted that "Marrakech is undoubtedly the capital of cinema in December, with so many different and important cinematic personalities."

As every year, the programming of this 21st edition of the Festival has allowed for the discovery and exploration of very varied cinematic expressions. In total, 71 films from 32 countries, spread across 6 sections, were screened at the various Festival venues in Marrakech.
