The Africa and Middle East edition of the International Conference on Islamic Finance (IFC 2012) will take place on Thursday and Friday in Marrakech, with the participation of a panel of international speakers from Asia and the Middle East.
Organised under the theme "Islamic finance: myths, realities, and international best practices" by iCompétences, an international consulting, training, and conference organisation group, in partnership with Vivia, a company specialising in high-value-added intellectual services, this meeting will debate the issues and challenges linked to Islamic finance and will grasp its dynamics.
The IFC-2012 Conference will be mainly focused on issues relating to Islamic finance, the advances of the Islamic financial system with a focus on the dynamics that this system is experiencing in Africa and the Middle East, the business model, and risk management in the context of Islamic products and services.
During this meeting, participants will review best practices in terms of organisation, the impact of Islamic finance on information systems, and the development of Islamic financial products.
