Laayoune | "Non-compliance" with deadlines for submitting cooperative files raises concerns among actors in the fishing sector - Al Ousboue Assahafi

Although the Secretariat of State in charge of Maritime Fisheries, headed by Zakia Driouich, set 11 June 2025 at 4:00 PM as the final deadline for receiving tender files for the cooperative support programme, the situation within the Regional Delegation of Maritime Fisheries in Marsa – Laayoune reflects a different reality, as a number of cooperatives arrived after the legal deadline, while other files are still under review.
This scene has sparked concern among a number of young actors in the sector, who considered the programme a real opportunity for economic integration and the launch of development projects with local viability. However, the talk circulating about the possibility of accepting files outside the official deadlines, for unknown reasons(..), has increased anxiety regarding the transparency and credibility of the entire process.
