The Ramadan operation is underway

As part of the National Solidarity Campaign initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, food distribution operations are being carried out for the benefit of needy people in various parts of the Khémisset province during this holy month, as Ramadan is conducive to social activities and gestures of solidarity towards the destitute. The kick-off for this operation was given on the eve of Ramadan at the level of the Khémisset municipality, in the presence of the provincial governor Hassan Fatih and other dignitaries. The Ramadan 1435 operation will thus benefit 11,200 people in urban and rural areas. The beneficiaries of this operation are each entitled to a basket consisting of 10 kg of flour, 2 sugar loaves, 5 litres of oil, and 250 g of tea. This operation aims to further consolidate the notion of solidarity as a value anchored in the identity of the Kingdom and its religious heritage. This operation is driven by a desire to provide aid to destitute people, particularly widows, the elderly, and people suffering from disabilities. The Ramadan operation is among the oldest and most important solidarity actions organised annually by the Foundation since its creation. It reflects the image and spirit of generosity of all Moroccan citizens who demonstrate, through similar actions, their attachment to their religious, cultural, and historical values. Furthermore, it is worth noting the creation of a provincial commission whose role is to supervise the progress of this charitable operation.

This commission is composed of several public bodies, notably the National Mutual Aid, the Economic and Social Division of the province, the Royal Gendarmerie, the delegation of the Ministry of Health, and that of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
