Creation of an Employment space within Ibn Tofail University

Creation of an Employment space within Ibn Tofail University

The National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) organised, at the beginning of the week, the opening ceremony of "Student Employment Week".

The kick-off for "Student Employment Week" was given at the headquarters of the presidency of Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, a partner of this event which constitutes an opportunity for ANAPEC to get closer to future job seekers, with the aim of knowing their expectations and making them discover all the services it puts at their disposal, notably remote services. Held under the theme "Services for job seekers... for more autonomy", "Student Employment Week" also constitutes the ideal opportunity for thousands of students to find out about the opportunities offered by the job market and to benefit from practical advice to refine their methods and techniques for job searching.

The inauguration of the Employment space within Ibn Tofail University was one of the highlights of this day. This new structure aims to prepare students and graduates for active life, through information on the job market, notably on promising sectors, training on job search techniques and awareness-raising on entrepreneurship. The Employment space also offers students the possibility of registering in the ANAPEC database and benefiting from open-access services and remote services, such as consulting offers, remote application, service scheduling, documentation, etc. The importance of this day was enhanced by the quality of the speakers.

We can cite in this regard Abdeslam Seddiki, Minister of Employment and Social Affairs, Zineb El Adaoui, Wali of the Gharb-Chrarda-Bni Hssen region, Anass Doukkali, Director General of ANAPEC, Larbi Bencheikh, Director General of the Office of Vocational Training and Promotion of Work (OFPPT), and Azzeddine El Midaoui, President of Ibn Tofail University. The meeting was, moreover, marked by the signing of three partnership agreements between ANAPEC, Ibn Tofail University and economic and social actors.

Strengthening the spirit of initiative among students was the watchword of this day. As was underlined by the Minister of Employment, students must henceforth be imaginative, take charge of their future and turn their backs on the spirit of assistance.
