Industry: SAPEM invests in a new factory in Jorf Lasfar

SAPEM is preparing to launch the construction of a new factory in Jorf Lasfar, on a footprint of 11,500 m². This project aims to strengthen the group's industrial capacities in the fields of surface treatment and anti-corrosion protection.
The future unit will have a treatment capacity of 100 to 120 tonnes per day, or more than 3,000 tonnes per month. It will be equipped with shot blasting and surface treatment technologies intended to improve productivity, the quality of treatments, as well as working conditions, with attention paid to safety and environmental requirements.
The project also provides for the transfer to Jorf Lasfar of part of the Teflon coating activity, currently carried out in Mohammedia.
The new site will also house maintenance workshops, central stores, and several logistics infrastructures, with spaces reserved for the group's future developments.
