From the beginning, RS Berkane imposed its game with a transcendent Zouita. Man-to-man defence was the rule on both sides.
The score evolved in favour of the Berkane team, which widened the gap to 24 points to 9 and finished the first quarter on the score of 24 points to 13.
During the second quarter, the MAS players modified their defensive system, but did not manage to stop the efficiency of the Berkane players. Abdelhakim Zouita, on a lucky day, annoyed his opponents with his dexterity and his success under the basket. His mid-range shots and his assists wreaked havoc in the MAS defence. Barazi and El Fakkany took part in the game on the side of the RSB. The latter was below his level and only managed five points during this meeting. Barazi did not manage any. The score at half-time was 47 points to 28 in favour of Berkane.
In the second half, the Oriental club continued on its momentum and brought the gap to twenty points. Some thought the game was folded in favour of the Orientals. The player Mijativic of the MAS received a personal foul and a disqualifying foul. His absence would handicap the Fassi team somewhat. The RSB took the third quarter on the score of 63 points to 47. The last quarter was, to everyone's surprise, to the advantage of the MAS, which managed 20 points while RS Berkane only managed ten. Despite this comeback, the men of Faysal Ghannam managed to manage the end of the match despite the pressure exerted by Hjira and his teammates to win the Throne Cup on the score of 73 points to 67.
The best player of the meeting is undoubtedly the great Abdelhakim Zouita who played 39 minutes and managed 34 points with eight defensive rebounds, two offensive rebounds, eight provoked fouls, and only two turnovers, one interception, and one block. In the MAS team, the great disappointment was the player Omar Masrouri who remained 34 minutes on the playing area and only managed three points with a single defensive rebound, 3 provoked fouls, two turnovers, and three interceptions.
