The consumer price index (CPI) for households in Agadir recorded a decline of 0.8% in April 2025, compared to the previous month, according to a note published by the regional directorate of the High Commission for Planning (HCP) of Souss-Massa.
Over the first four months of the year, however, the CPI shows a 1% increase year-on-year. This trend is explained by the 1.2% increase in the food products index and 0.8% for non-food products.
Nationally, the price index rose by 0.7% in April 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year, a consequence of a similar increase for both food and non-food products.
