Agadir is preparing to host the first edition of the International Industry and Services Forum, on 5 and 6 May 2025. Organised by Industrie du Maroc Magazine in partnership with the Souss Massa Regional Investment Centre (CRI), this event aims to strengthen Agadir's positioning as a major economic hub in Morocco.
Placed under the theme "Agadir Souss Massa: a strategic hub for industry and services in Morocco", this meeting will highlight the region's many assets in promising sectors such as agro-industry, renewable energies, and information technologies. The forum will bring together public and private actors to discuss investment opportunities, encourage partnerships, and promote sustainable initiatives adapted to current challenges, as indicated in the press release.
Accelerating innovation, supporting start-ups
As part of this event, three thematic pavilions will be set up to showcase innovative solutions and key sectors of the region. The Start-up Act Pavilion will be entirely dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. A true springboard for young companies, students, and project leaders, it will offer pitch sessions, B2B meetings, as well as interactive workshops focused on the challenges of Industry 4.0.
The Industry Pavilion will highlight the contribution of the industrial fabric to regional and national economic development. Designed as a showcase for the know-how of industrial companies, it will exhibit their technologies, achievements, and their role in the economic and industrial transformation of Morocco.
Finally, the Services Pavilion will be dedicated to companies and institutions that support and optimise economic and industrial activities. This pavilion will promote high value-added services, in key areas such as logistics, information technology, consulting, financial services, among others. It will also constitute a strategic connection space between industrialists, start-ups, and institutional actors, thus promoting the performance and competitiveness of the sectors concerned.
By bringing together leaders from the public and private sectors, this event aims to promote the region as a strategic crossroads for industry and services. It aims to facilitate exchanges between investors, industrialists, and start-ups, to accelerate regional economic development, and to encourage innovation and sustainability in emerging and traditional sectors.
