The 7th International Festival of Caricature in Africa, from December 12 to 15 in Agadir

Organised at the initiative of the Atlas Association of Caricature (AAC) and the weekly newspaper "Le Canard Libéré", on the theme "Food security: the world is hungry for great resolutions", this event will see the participation of more than 411 cartoonists from all over the world, including 30 from Morocco, with more than 1,200 works dedicated to the theme of food security, a statement from the organisers indicates.In addition to the permanent exhibition of caricatures, the Festival will this year pay a vibrant tribute to the Moroccan cartoonist Nourdine Bennani, in recognition of his contribution to the enrichment of press cartoons and, more broadly, the national cultural and media field.On the agenda for this event, initiated with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, are also two workshops which will be led by the cartoonists in the presence of a group of…
