Launch of the agricultural campaign

Between October 11 and December 25, 2024, 1,036 quintals of selected seeds were marketed in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, according to the regional director of agricultural advice. This volume, acquired by 412 farmers, includes 374 quintals of barley, 64.5 quintals of soft wheat, and 597.5 quintals of durum wheat.
Four points of sale were established in the cities of Guelmim, Bouizakarne, Assa, and Sidi Ifni to facilitate the distribution of these seeds.
A programme to support farmers
The current agricultural campaign has been accompanied by several measures to support farmers. Under the coordination of the National Office for Agricultural Advice, initiatives include field visits and awareness campaigns, technical training to encourage better agricultural practices, and personalised support to maximise yields and improve incomes.
