During this session, chaired by the President of the Regional Council, El Khattat Yanja, and attended by the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region, Governor of the Oued Ed-Dahab province, Ali Khalil, and Governor of the Aousserd province, Mohamed Rachdi, the council members discussed and approved a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection regarding the handover and equipping of the international multidisciplinary clinic in Dakhla.
This agreement falls within the framework of activating the social protection project and relates to defining the administrative and technical conditions for the handover and equipping of the international multidisciplinary clinic in Dakhla for the benefit of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
The council members also approved an annex regarding the partnership agreement concluded between the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family and the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab Regional Council for the "economic empowerment of women and people with special needs".
The annex aims to support 3,200 beneficiaries in formulating and preparing their own projects, and supporting them during the business/cooperative creation phase and after starting work. The annex also aims to support the beneficiaries with financial support in order to complete their individual and collective projects.
The council also discussed and approved a partnership and cooperation agreement to build a group of roads in the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region. This agreement, whose total financial cost is estimated at 481 million dirhams, aims to build a group of roads in the region, with the aim of strengthening basic infrastructure at the level of a number of territorial communes and improving the living conditions of the population.
A draft partnership agreement for the construction and development of roads in the Dakhla and El Argoub communes was also approved.
The council members also approved, unanimously, a partnership agreement for the construction of the headquarters of the Regional Command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Dakhla, as the total cost of the agreement is estimated at 33 million dirhams, financed by the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region.
During this extraordinary session, Annex No. 1 to the agreement on financing and implementing the programme for completing and activating fishing villages in the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region was also studied and approved. The financial cost required to carry out the operations programmed within the framework of this annex is estimated at 22.34 million dirhams.
In conclusion, the council discussed and approved the transfer of appropriations from the equipment budget for the year 2024.
