Raja Beni Mellal deepens Khouribga's wounds and stands alone at the top

Raja Beni Mellal continued its strong performances this season, after defeating its guest Olympique Khouribga by three goals to one, in the match held this weekend at the Stade d'Honneur in Beni Mellal, as part of the seventh round of the Botola Pro D2.

The three goals of the "Knight of Ain Asserdoun" came in the first half, while the "Knight of Phosphate" scored its only goal in the 65th minute of the match through Gabonese striker Loïc Paul Nzi.

A victory that strengthened Raja Beni Mellal's position at the top of the standings with 16 points, while the wounds of "OCK" deepened, as its tally remained at two points at the bottom of the competition.

On the other hand, Ittihad Yacoub El Mansour achieved a difficult draw against its guest Wydad Fes, with one goal each in the match that brought them together at the Yacoub El Mansour stadium.

"WAF" was the first to score in the tenth minute, before the Rabat team equalised in the 48th minute.

A draw that left Ittihad Yacoub El Mansour in second place in the standings with 14 points, while the Fes representative moved up one spot to 11th place with eight points.

In turn, Youssoufia Berrechid failed to defeat its guest Olympique Dcheira, after the latter forced a draw (0-0) in the match hosted by the Municipal Stadium of Berrechid.

Despite the draw, the Harizi team moved up to sixth place after reaching 10 points, while the Soussi team fell to fifth place with 11 points.

As for Chabab Ben Guerir, it exacerbated the suffering of Mouloudia Oujda, after defeating it by two goals to nil, in the match held at the Stade d'Honneur in Oujda.

Following this result, the "Knight of Rhamna" moved up to fourth place with 12 points, while the "Sinbad of the East" remained in its penultimate position with three points.

It is worth noting that the match between the "Knight of the East" and its guest from Rhamna witnessed a major scandal, especially since we are in the era of professionalism, as the hosts played the match with only two players on the bench.

Mouloudia's list for this match included only thirteen players, due to the team's limited squad, after being banned from transfers during the last summer transfer window due to a group of legal disputes that are still ongoing, whether between the club's management and the players or between it and the former coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.

On the other hand, Kawkab Marrakech succeeded in sweeping its guest Ittihad Islamique Oujdi with four clean goals, in the match hosted by the Municipal Stadium of Ben Guerir, without an audience.

The "Knight of the Palm Grove" rose after this victory to seventh place with seven points, while the counter of the second representative of the East after Mouloudia stopped at nine points in ninth place.

This, and the rest of Sunday's matches witnessed a goalless draw between Stade Marocain and Rapide Oued Zem, so the former now has ten points in eighth place, and the latter eight points in 12th place.

The match between KAC Kenitra and Chabab Atlas Khenifra also ended in a positive draw (1-1), knowing that the former is in 14th place with six points and the latter in 13th place with seven points.
