Informing economic actors in Beni Mellal about the "Morocco Export Now" program

Informing economic actors in Beni Mellal about the "Morocco Export Now" program

This meeting, organized on the initiative of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) and the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, and the Regional Directorate of Trade and Industry, aims to provide detailed information on the latest export incentive mechanisms and support for companies wishing to develop internationally.

According to the organizers, this meeting, in which key actors in the regional entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region participated, constituted a valuable initiative to promote exports in the region, by adapting the mechanisms and national expertise of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development to the specificities and reality of the local economic fabric, as well as encouraging companies in the region to explore new horizons and go beyond the borders of traditional trading partners.

In a speech on the occasion, the Director General of the Regional Investment Center of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, Adil Azmi, emphasized that the "Morocco Export Now" program seeks to be a unique opportunity for companies in the region to develop internationally and contribute to the prosperity of the region, recalling the objectives of the program which proposes a complete and consistent range of services, starting from training on the latest export techniques to the development of targeted marketing strategies adapted to the specificities of different markets.

For his part, the advisor and expert at the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, Mohamed Benjelloun, said that this meeting is part of a series of regional seminars scheduled by the Agency to present the "Morocco Export Now" program, which ensures that Moroccan companies and cooperatives with export potential have access to the Agency's service offer.

He highlighted that the Agency's support is based on four main pillars: monitoring and analyzing markets and sectors, promotion, prospecting and mobilization to encourage the participation of beneficiaries in forums and exhibitions, and organizing economic partnership caravans and B2B meetings, noting that this support also concerns strengthening access to markets by establishing product referencing in distribution chains internationally, as well as training professionals in the practical aspects of foreign trade.

According to the Regional Investment Center of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, this meeting represents an important step to promote exports in the region, with the aim of increasing the export turnover of beneficiary companies by 2026 to better support companies in this dynamic.

At the level of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, about 20 companies and 15 cooperatives, including 10 women-led ones, expressed their interest in joining the "Morocco Export Now for Women" program, which testifies to the vitality of the local economic ecosystem.

"Morocco Export Now", launched in 2023, is a comprehensive support program for Moroccan companies and cooperatives with export potential operating in the industrial or service sectors.

Key economic actors in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region were informed yesterday, Wednesday, about the "Morocco Export Now" program aimed at boosting the exports of Moroccan companies and cooperatives.
