The Royal Moroccan Federation for Sport for All (FRMSPT) will organise, next Saturday in Zagora, the second stage of the second edition of the "Women's Steps to Victory".

The start of this 4 km sporting event, organised in partnership with the prefecture of the province of Zagora under the slogan "I run according to my abilities", will be given at 11 am from the Corniche square, with the participation of women from various social strata and age groups, according to a statement from the FRMSPT.

According to the same source, the organisation of this sporting event is part of the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the presentation of the Manifesto of Independence, which marks a glorious epic in the annals of the national struggle for the recovery of independence and the completion of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

It is worth recalling that the FRMSPT organised, on January 19 and 20, 2024, a national multi-sport caravan in the commune of Agdz and the city of Zagora, which included a range of individual and team sports, educational and recreational activities, as well as traditional games.

The day of January 21, the statement continues, was dedicated to the "Women's Steps to Victory", marked by massive participation (over 5,000 participants) of students from secondary education institutions, in addition to women from various social backgrounds, including foreigners.

It should be noted that the city of Nador hosted, last October 12, the first stage of the second edition of the "Women's Steps to Victory", on the occasion of the National Women's Day, and which saw intense participation of young girls and women from different social strata of the city and its suburbs.

The third, fourth and fifth stages of the "Women's Steps to Victory" will take place respectively in the cities of Benguerir (February 22), Mediouna (April 6) and Rabat (April 13), the statement concludes.
