During this meeting, chaired by the Governor of Taourirt Province, President of the Provincial Committee for Human Development, Badr Bousif, a partnership agreement was also approved regarding the implementation of the program for improving income and economic inclusion for youth for the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (Entrepreneurship), at the youth platforms in the cities of Taourirt and Laayoune Sidi Mellouk (supplementary phase).
The committee also approved the partnership agreement related to the implementation of the support program for income-generating activities for the benefit of women in difficult situations and people with disabilities in Taourirt province.
In a speech on the occasion, Mr. Bousif indicated that the projects and operations programmed by the Provincial Committee for Human Development for the Taourirt province prefecture for the year 2024 focused on developing infrastructure, enhancing access to basic services, in addition to giving special importance to promoting human capital, especially in the areas of fighting vulnerability, supporting maternal and child health and school health, encouraging schooling and fighting school dropout, as well as improving income and economic inclusion for youth.
The Governor of the province called on the members of the Provincial Committee for Human Development, the heads of local committees, and representatives of the relevant government sectors to further engage in this royal project; through constructive participatory work, and ensuring the monitoring of the implementation of these projects within the specified deadlines to ensure sustainable development; which will enable the improvement of the living conditions of the targeted population, the raising of human development indicators, especially in the health and education sectors, the creation of job opportunities at the local level, the integration of youth into the economic environment, and the enhancement of access to basic infrastructure and social services.
This meeting took place in the presence of, in particular, the heads of local committees for human development, the heads of decentralized services of government sectors, and civil society associations that are members of the committee.
