This meeting, chaired by the governor of the Taourirt province, president of the CPDH, Badr Boussif, was also marked by the adoption of a partnership agreement relating to the implementation of the program for income improvement and economic integration of youth, within the framework of Phase III of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), through two youth platforms in the cities of Taourirt and El Aïoun Sidi Mellouk.
The committee also approved a partnership agreement relating to the realization of a support program for income-generating activities for the benefit of women in difficult situations and people with disabilities in the Taourirt province.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Boussif noted that these projects and operations programmed by the CPDH in the Taourirt province for the year 2024, emphasize the development of infrastructure, the strengthening of access to basic services, in addition to the particular importance given to the promotion of human capital, the fight against precariousness, support for maternal and child health, as well as school health, the encouragement of schooling and the fight against school dropout, as well as the improvement of income and the economic integration of youth.
The governor also called on the members of the CPDH, the presidents of local committees, and the representatives of government sectors to commit further to this Royal project, through concerted and constructive action, ensuring the monitoring of the execution of these projects within the allotted time, in order to guarantee sustainable development.
These efforts will make it possible to improve the living conditions of the target populations, strengthen human development indicators, particularly in the health and education sectors, create employment opportunities at the local level, integrate youth into the economy, and expand access to infrastructure and basic social services.
This meeting was notably held in the presence of the presidents of local human development committees, presidents of decentralized government sector services, and civil society associations that are members of the committee.
