At a time when the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council is approving a group of projects, especially those related to supporting sports, cinematic, and cultural activities, in addition to allocating support for associations, the residents of some Douars belonging to the Wanana territorial commune in the Ouezzane province are living in a difficult situation, where development programs are absent, especially those related to infrastructure and basic services.
The residents of Douar Lamyar Wanana complain about the absence of road paths that connect them to urban centers, which increases their suffering in transportation, especially in the winter season when dirt paths turn into mud that hinders movement as shown in the picture. The area also lacks public lighting, which negatively affects the security and daily comfort of the residents.
