Indeed, as announced in a warning bulletin from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the Ifrane province has witnessed significant snowfall since Friday, which continued until this Saturday morning.
This snowfall led to the interruption of traffic on the roads connecting Azrou and Timahdite, Azrou and Ifrane, Hebri and Michlifen, and Michlifen and Ifrane.
The various services affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Equipment and Water, supported by local authorities and security services, mobilised all logistical means to open road axes to traffic and ensure the safety of road users.
According to the Provincial Directorate of Equipment, all human and material means have been mobilised so that the snow removal operation takes place in the best conditions, and traffic is restored on the various road axes that witnessed interruption due to heavy snowfall.
On the other hand, the Directorate called on road users to take the necessary measures and precautions, by checking the condition of their vehicle tyres and respecting the recommendations of local authorities and the team in charge of the snow removal operation.
