According to data from the Social Action Division of the Chichaoua Province prefecture, the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) contributed 370.94 million dirhams to the financing of these projects.
The same source explained that 81 projects were completed under the first program related to "bridging the gap in infrastructure and basic social services" with a total budget of 71.34 million dirhams, fully funded by the INDH.
These projects covered sectors such as road construction and rehabilitation (12.92 kilometres of roads and tracks), connection to the electrical grid and solar energy (connecting 23 school institutions), supply of drinking water (1,100 beneficiary families), health (225,468 beneficiaries), and education (2,757 beneficiaries).
Under the second program related to "supporting people in vulnerable situations," approximately 34 projects and 35 activities were implemented at a financial cost of 35.2 million dirhams, funded by the INDH.
The data highlighted that the projects and activities carried out under this program benefited approximately 7,602 people in vulnerable situations, noting that 46.98 per cent of the budget benefited needy kidney failure patients, while the quality of service improvement rate reached 74 per cent.
Regarding the "Income Improvement and Economic Inclusion of Youth" program, the number of projects and activities completed during the 2019-2024 period reached approximately 318, with a total financial envelope estimated at 37.55 million dirhams funded by the INDH, benefiting 548 people, including 183 newly created businesses (entrepreneurship pillar) and the financing of 72 projects (income improvement pillar).
Regarding the "Advancing Human Development for Future Generations" program, approximately 405 projects were created and 139 activities were carried out with a total cost reaching 226.85 million dirhams.
These projects and activities, which had 416,687 beneficiaries, included the maternal and child health pillar with 44 projects and activities (15.28 million dirhams), the pillar for universalising pre-school education in rural areas (programming 207 units at 110.62 million dirhams), and school support (230 projects and activities with a financial envelope estimated at 100.95 million dirhams).
