Al Hoceima: 18 years of imprisonment for a sexagenarian judged for indecent assault on a minor

Pedophile: Eighteen years of firm imprisonment, such is the sentence handed down last Monday by the criminal chamber of the first instance at the Court of Appeal of Al Hoceima against a sexagenarian pedophile, after being found guilty of indecent assault on a minor in Imzouren. The case broke out following the circulation of two videos on the messaging application WhatsApp showing the rapist in the company of the victim. Immediately, investigators from the judicial police under the Imzouren district opened an investigation. The investigations made it possible to identify and then arrest the pedophile appearing in the recordings, as well as to identify the victim, a sixteen-year-old adolescent. The minor who had filmed one of the videos was presented in a state of freedom, and his file was transmitted to the court of first instance of Al Hoceima, due to still being a minor.
