Transparency Maroc has called on the Istiqlal Party to take action against Abdellatif Abdouh, who was convicted in the Casino Saadi case, following the finalization of the verdict against him.
In a statement, the organization noted that following the final decision by the Court of Cassation, it calls upon "the political bodies to which those accused of corruption cases belong, as well as the bodies concerned with corruption issues, to take appropriate measures against the convicted individuals." The association stated that "there is no credibility to anti-corruption rhetoric unless it is accompanied by clear positions in this field."
