This Saturday, Wydad and FC Porto, both in the preparatory phase for the Club World Cup, will face each other in a friendly match at the Mohammed V Sports Complex starting at 17:00.
Porto chose Wydad as a sparring partner because they will have to face a North African club in the first phase of the next World Cup: Al Ahly.
The Portuguese club is in Group A of the Club World Cup, alongside Palmeiras, Inter Miami, and Al Ahly, while Wydad is placed in Group G with Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain of the Rahimi brothers.
