Casablanca Stock Exchange: Summary of the session on Tuesday, May 13

The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended Tuesday's session with a slight increase. The MASI index gained 0.19%, closing at 18,066.76 points.
This performance is mainly due to the strong showing of the forestry and paper sector, which recorded the best sectoral increase of the day with +3.55%. Conversely, the engineering and industrial equipment sector saw the sharpest decline.
Trading was robust, with a total volume exceeding 514.4 million dirhams, while market capitalisation reached over 946.1 billion dirhams.
In terms of individual stocks, Promopharm led the gainers, jumping 5.86% to 1,174 dirhams. It was followed by Jet Contractors (+5.32% to 2,275 DH), M2M Group (+4.31% to 533 DH), Balima (+3.64% to 228 DH), and Med Paper (+3.55% to 22.78 DH).
