Benslimane – The Regional Multiservices Company Casablanca – Settat supervised, yesterday Tuesday in Benslimane, the execution of the third intensive cleaning campaign in the city, since it took over the management of this vital facility.
The company highlighted, in a statement, that this campaign, which comes within the framework of its efforts to rehabilitate liquid sanitation networks in the various cities of the region, falls within a comprehensive strategy to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and enhance the capacity of the rainwater network.
The same source indicated that this operation included the mobilization of 4 water cleaning trucks, in addition to field teams specialized in manual and mechanical maintenance.
The city of Benslimane has a liquid sanitation network extending over more than 172 kilometers, and the number of liquid sanitation customers in it reaches more than 22,000 subscribers, in addition to more than 27,000 customers for drinking water services.
In this context, the statement quoted El Mustapha Charnoubi, Provincial Director of Benslimane at the Regional Multiservices Company Casablanca – Settat, as saying: “Since February, we have been able to clean about two kilometers of the network, distributed over three field campaigns, and our interventions included vital neighborhoods such as Hay Mohammadi, Hay Karim, Hay Lalla Meriem, Hay Hassani, Hay El Felline, Hay El Farah, in addition to Hassan II Street and the Royal Armed Forces Street.”
Charnoubi confirmed that these operations will continue at a regular pace according to a specific program that targets various black spots to ensure the fluidity of the network, limit the risks of flows during rainy periods, and also raise the quality of the services provided.
For their part, a number of field agents expressed the positive interaction of the population with this campaign, as one of them stated: “Residents approach us continuously during intervention operations, and ask about the possibility of intervening in their neighborhoods or next to their homes. Some asked us for help in solving blockages near mosques or internal alleys.”
He added: “There is a growing awareness among citizens of the importance of these works, and we feel their support and their keenness to clean the network and the smooth drainage of water.”
The Regional Multiservices Company continues to mobilize its human and technical resources, and intensify its interventions across various regions of the region, seeking to provide quality services that meet the expectations of the population.
