Kasbah Mosque

Standing out against the silhouette of the old city of Tangier from the highest point of the Medina, the Kasbah Mosque, with its distinctive octagonal minaret decorated with blue and reddish tiles, stands out in the midst of the white typical of the main city of the Strait of Gibraltar. Built after the victory over the English during the first half of the 18th century, it is located near the Dar El-Makhzen Palace (now the Kasbah Museum of Mediterranean Cultures, the main museum of the city).
